Creating a Web service
The third screen of the web services example, shown below, gets to the business of generating the deployment descriptor which describes web service from the Smalltalk class SstWSInsurancePolicyInterface.
The target directory refers to the directory which the XML and WSDL files which comprise the deployment descriptor will be written. Again, it is important to remember that these files will be OVERWRITTEN if they exist!
The " Generate deployment files" button actually writes the files.
The bottom group box allows the user to open the specific XML and WSDL files and browse the contents.
The example will not move on to the next page unless these files are present in the target directory.
