On Windows systems you can customize the product icon and splash screen for the VA Smalltalk development system and for packaged applications created with VA Smalltalk. The product icon is used on the desktop or start menu to launch the application. It is also shown in the upper left corner of the application window.

The splash screen is the window that displays while your image starts. You can easily change the splash screen that your development and/or runtime image displays to your own bitmap. You can also have the splash screen display longer.
